The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Ovie Mughelli Foundation (OMF) formally announced a strategic collaboration to support innovative environmental education programs designed to increase environmental stewardship among our nation’s youth.

This new collaborative effort is the culmination of tireless efforts on behalf of Ovie Mughelli and the rest of Team Green to build alliances with community organizations, state and federal government, and community members.

“We are proud to have the EPA as a partner in improving the lives of America’s youth. Our goal has always been to make learning about living in a better world fun. With the EPA by our side, we look forward to reaching even more kids with our message,” said Ovie Mughelli.

EPA Acting Administrator Bob Perciasepe and Ovie Mughelli invited a select audience to participate in a roundtable discussion on environmental education and stewardship among our nation’s youth. The signing ceremony took place during this event.

Fans of OMF’s signature Recycle on the Run™ football camps and events should expect to see more sweep across major sporting events.
